Uber Time

UBER 33015 copy

I stated in my previous post I had just got back in town and of course I headed to Uber as soon as I could! The nice thing about being late to the party was no waiting to get in! I went saying do not buy more than you really need! That didn't last long, and I am already thinking oh I need to go and get this or that in more colors! The Olive hair is my new favorite hair and I will be sporting this for a long time I think in my day to day look, it's just super adorable. The cargo pants, LOVE and they make my ass look great! Shoes from Eudora are dressy casual so they paired really well with the cargo pants and my necklace and bracelets also from my Uber shopping spree. The top is from Maitreya and made to just throw on with my Lara mesh body. I am one happy camper when it comes to my Uber purchases and you will be too if you haven't been yet, go go go! There is no line!

MWFW Preview: Lyrical B!zaare Anderson

Another exciting MWFW 2015 Preview! This one is from Lyrical B!zarre Templates. This outfit is called Anderson, a rich navy blue and comes with the camo style scarf, The cropped billowy pants mean comfort and I think it's a nice tropical look that doesn't get too beachy. Paired with Deadwool boots, a bracelet from Bravura and the group gift hair from INK. Casual, laid back and definitely a win win in the style department.

MWFW SwaggedOut Spirit of Bali Tattoo Preview

You won't just find clothing at MWFW 2015, there will be an array of accessories as well and one I am lucky enough to preview in SwaggedOut's Spirit of Bali Tattoo. It's a intricate well made design that comes with appliers for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, Signature, Omega and Physique! So no matter what mesh body you are sporting you are covered. It's comes in two versions, "fresh" and "faded" in case you want that new ink look or prefer a more aged appearance. (Faded is pictured here). So a short to the point post but definitely worthwhile because this tat will be perfect for your vacation or tropical lifestyle.

MWFW 2015 Bravura Preview

MWFW 2015 Bravura Preview

The hits keep on coming for Menswear Fashion Week 2015! Today I have an ensemble from Bravura that is total class. The Bravura Ascot Linen Outfit is simple, elegant and well made. A slightly cropped pant on a tall avi allows for the fun of the patterned socks and the alligator shoes to add some personality to the look. The Bravura trademark is tastefully added on the hem of the jacket, the ascot giving a little "Professor Higgens" feel to the look and the linen texture is well done. It's a good look, classy and definitely worth finding once the event opens! Remember Menswear Fashion Week 2015 March 27th-April 4th, 2015!

MWFW 2015 Vero Modero Preview

MWFW Vero Modero Preview

I am a lucky girl in the sense I get to blog for the guys for a bit! Menswear Fashion Week is fast approaching and let me tell you there is going to be some great items available! I feel like the guys get shortchanged at a lot of the shopping events so I am really happy there is something special for the men of SL. The outfit is from Vero Modero and it's just in time to beat those winter blues, bright, tropical and classy the shirt and shorts just make you want to kick your shoes off and bury you toes in the sand somewhere with a ice cold drink. The simple accessories are also available at MWFW by Moondance, a really nice set with nail appliers! A nicely manicured nail is always appreciated even on the guys! I like the simplicity and good fit of the gold chain, the ring and earring are tasteful and not overpowering and the red accents paired nicely with the shirt. I am looking forward to bringing you more goodies from MWFW 2015!

A Hint of Paris

A Hint of Paris

Exciting Sunday when two events open up for my shopping addiction! Liaison Collaborative and Kustom9 both opened their doors today and I got my wallet out and went to town, I will try to blog some more of the stuff I got this week, but forgive me if I am slow, RL is about to get crazy busy! For this outfit I am wearing some pieces from both the Liaison Collaborative and Kustom9. The "Paris" crop top (Liaison Collaborative) is a cute little tee with a lace overlay, the skirt, boots and rings are all from the Kustom9 event and are some of my new favorite purchases. I love the gemstone decoration on the boots that dresses them up for a more fashionable statement. I used my Maitreya mesh body for this, the stockings are an applier and the jewelry is from Mandala. The bow on my Lala hair from Truth added just the right touch for me and I ended up faving this outfit in my inventory!

Biker's Choice Fair

Biker Fair copy

I am on spring break right now from school and it's given me more time to shop and blog which I am enjoying a great deal. I have been checking out events and stores that are not on my usual radar because I have found you can find all kinds of fashionable goodies even outside you normal comfort zone of style. I went to the Biker's Choice Fair and found some things I just loved! This is the Spirit Store Leather Catwa jumpsuit that I paired with what else..Catwa Rocker Hair! I loved the non shiny leather with subtle gold stud detailing. My feet needed some kick ass boots to match my outfit and hair so I grabbed some Glamistry boots off the marketplace, Swallow studded ring, erratic leather and chain bracelet and Pomposity choker I think I can start to get into Biker Chic!

Waiting for Inspiration

Waiting for Inspiration

Blogging is a lot of fun, I love putting outfits together, trying styles, especially when it's something I want to try in RL but don't want to spend the money on until I know I would really like it, Many times my SL outfits get recreated in RL and vice versa. I am an artist in RL so my SL home has a studio in it as well because if makes me feel at home and brings a little piece of me into SL. Sitting in it waiting for inspiration or for someone to come home is comforting, relaxing. It's my safe place. We all need a safe place where we can just let everything go and just be, just sit and let the stresses fade and the inspirations come. To do this is comfort is key, This outfit is so comfortable just easy and relaxed. Cardigan, tee, denim shorts, a scarf because it's still a little nippy, broken in boots, ponytail in case the inspiration hits and I get to work, So my advice to anyone is RL or SL make sure you have a place that is your safety zone, where you always feel at ease and can regroup, become inspired or just plain relax.

London Calling and (A Sneaky Peek)

London Calling

Today I was kinda lazy, Spent way to many Lindens at Collabor88 and The Arcade and stayed up all night last night decorating a new house knowing full well I was going to lose an hours sleep to Daylight Savings Time. So while what I feel like blogging is sweats and barefeet I did manage to pull myself together and style a simple and elegant outfit with some of the items I found at Collabor88 and the highlight of the day that I can mention here, NEW SKIN PREVIEW! Tuli dropped her newest creation on me, Neve which will be released at the Skin Fair 2015. It's a lovely skin, I kinda liked looking at myself naked in it! Neve comes in 7 tones, each with cleavage options,  Slink and Maitreya Appliers, four eyebrow colors, five eye make-up tattoos, ten lipstick tattoos, bonus teeth tattoos and bonus Neve shape! Tuli is really  spoiling us!

My outift comes partially from Collabor88. The Tres Blah red pencil skirt, the Milk Motion trench, as well as the Hucci shoes and Tableau Vivant hair. This outfit is so all about looking for an apartment in London, I wanted to add a little edge to it so I added the studded ring from Swallow and studded belt with Mandala's Chunkeeey necklace. I shot in in Apple Fall's London Apartment Skybox. So there you have it, quick, simple, elegant girl about town.

Andy

Comic Warhol copy

So I love this outfit, I was kind of at a loss how to style it at first, I tried several approaches but when I finally decided the cut of the dress was kind of retro I went with it and I think it worked out! The dress is another find from Fashion Art, the hat is one of my favorite hats from the super talented Kallisto Destiny of Drift, and I am loving the shoes from Hello Dave that have a comic book print! Now Warhol isn't really a comic book style artist, that belongs to Roy Lichtenstein but the two styles mixed well with this outfit and hey they are both Pop Artists, I am loving the bright colors since the skies in RL have been kinda of gray as of late, it's nice to have some color in my Second Life!

Hat: Drift Pimpin Hat in Color Block
Bag: DDL Instant Crush in Blue
Shoes: Hello Dave Slingback Stiletto in Wonder Shoo

Lipstick Red

Lipstick Red

Fashion Art opened today and I was watching the clock til it did and immediately tp'd in to do some damage to my linden bank account. It's a really fun event and I love the artist based theme. The dress is from AnaMarkova based on Andy Warhol's lipstick prints. The print on the front and solid black back with red cut out sleeves really pops and it's so busy I didn't want to add to much to it and take away from the dress itself. I added a wonderful necklace I also picked up at Fashion Art from Kunglers based on Frida Khalo called Frida Forever some black tights, and some shoes I grabbed while I was at Fashion Art from DE Boutique, they have a color pack and essential pack, I got both! Topped it all off with my Lode Dark Fragrance hat, some modern earrings and my look was completed. I will blog some more things from the event, it's a lot of fun so go and get some wearable art!
